Sailing season in Croatia starts in late April and ends in late October, however some charter companies are open all year round and offer boat rental also in the winter months. The warmest months are July and August in Croatia. In Split, the average temperature in January is about 7 °C, in July about 27 °C.
In Split, the sea temperature is a bit warmer during the winter compared to the norther part of Croatia (Istria region), while in summer it is quite the same.
