Location is great and the boat is very comfortable. The boat doesn’t sail very sporty, but is comfortable for new crew. We had a couple issues with the electronics on the second day (needed an update) and the charter staff were super quick to fix the issue (we were still in the marina).
Condition and equipment on the boat. For a new boat it was already quite beat up and the charter company staff did not seem bothered about this or willing to do anything. Safety equipment (fire alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, flashlight, etc.) were not installed or missing batteries. Anchor chain was not marked with depths. We rented a new boat, and paid this premium, so that we would have everything in great condition as we know charted boats get abused. But given the boat’s condition, we could have easily rented a 1-2 year old boat without noticing a difference.
