Very Disappointing Experience with Sea Drive Boat Charter We chartered a catamaran from Sea Drive and were extremely disappointed by its condition. Considering that the boat was only three years old, the level of wear, poor maintenance, and lack of care was shocking. Many issues were visible throughout the vessel, clearly indicating that regular upkeep had been neglected. What concerned us most was that some of these maintenance shortcomings appeared to affect safety at sea. When you are paying a premium price for a modern catamaran, you expect a vessel that is properly maintained, reliable, and safe. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. It is a real shame because the catamaran itself is an expensive and potentially beautiful boat, but the poor condition significantly reduced our enjoyment and confidence during the trip. There is simply no excuse for a yacht of this value to be maintained so poorly. To be fair, the staff working for the charter company were helpful and responsive whenever we needed assistance. They did their best to address issues and support us throughout the charter. However, our impression was that the owner of the company is focused primarily on protecting his own interests rather than ensuring customer satisfaction or investing adequately in the maintenance of the fleet. This attitude was reflected in the overall experience. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend Sea Drive Boat Charter and would think very carefully before booking with them again.
