The island world

The catamaran was in a dreadful state. The sheets were old and salted, causing the main halyard to twist and requiring untwisting at the masthead. The main battery was dead, necessitating frequent use of the generator. The electrical system was in a terrible state and often required resetting. The watermaker only produced 30 liters per hour and was definitely too small for eight people. We frequently had to refill the water tank externally.
