German-speaking landlord, always punctual. Boat pick-up and drop-off, as well as communication, were seamless.
The overall condition of the boat, as well as the rectification of safety-related defects, of which there were unfortunately more than enough, was poor: protruding screws, missing or sharply broken speaker grilles, razor-sharp chrome chips on the throttle lever, a missing service hatch at the bow, badly damaged, dirty, and moldy life jackets (which were not replaced despite being pointed out), and an unhygienic and filthy first-aid kit. Furthermore, neither the radio nor the speakers worked, the USB ports were rusted and damaged, the boat hook was only half-used (and therefore correspondingly short), the table was unusable because the screws were rusted (this was supposed to be fixed, but wasn't), and the cushions were worn and torn. The daily refueling of the boat by the rental company was very convenient, but one had to place a great deal of trust in them, as there was no record of the actual amount of fuel used. Conclusion: Had we seen the boat before paying, we definitely would not have rented it. The promotional photos don't even come close to reflecting the actual condition of the boat. We were aware that it would show some wear and tear due to its age, but this borders on outright deception. According to older reviews, several defects were already known (which we unfortunately only discovered afterward) but hadn't been repaired, and the rental company doesn't seem to care. We would never rent a boat from this provider again. It's a real shame, as the initial process was very positive.
