The stand at Magellan was far below expectations. Bowtruster only worked to one side. Diesel smell in one aft cabin which made it unusable. Mattresses in cabins worn and smoke down into holes in the underlying plate. Very poor sleep. Emergency anchor chain not mounted on anchor. No marking on anchor chain, so you do not know how much chain has been laid out. Outboard engine did not work and dripped gasoline. The foresail was torn in a seam and concern about it would break completely. Alarm from engine during use. Surge so we could not sail full speed for engine. When using the electric winch for sails, the boat turned sharply to starboard if the autopilot was on. Binoculars defective. Refrigerator sometimes did not work. (full voltage on service battery) service battery lacks capacity. can not lie without shore power from 15-10 without running out of power. Arrows for dinghy could not be fixed, threads in plastic nuts broken. Toolbox very poor condition. The shackle was missing so emergency anchors could be extended with ropes. Had to borrow from other sailors. Lifebuoy wrapped in rope so that it could not be thrown out quickly. Lack of charts for the area, however, check-in found one on request.
