The yacht lost the propeller. The company charged it. Very poor!
The owner is very friendly and helpful. The yacht handover and pick-up took place in a very pleasant atmosphere, yet was also professional. Everything was completed without unnecessary rush and on time.

The sailboat had no wind speed indicator! The diesel fuel gauge was broken. Some things were repaired through tinkering but not properly repaired (the cover of the electrical connection was replaced with duct tape. The 12-volt connection in the switch panel was missing). It would be a good idea to provide different colored towels for each crew member, and they might not be the cheapest ones from Ikea.

The contact with the charter company before and during the trip was always friendly and on a technical level. The check-in and check-out were no struggle and the guys were very helpful answering all occurring questions.
The charter company didn't mention on check-in that the boiler is leaking water into the boat. Since it was quite a lot we had to pump it out regularly and also refill the water tank more often. Furthermore was the filled up waste tank leaking into the bilge which then smelled really bad. On check-in we noticed that the wind speedometer was missing but the charter company didn't have time to install a new one. So we had to sail the whole week without any index on the current wind speed. Considering all those issues I wouldn't charter again from Sailmarine.
It was the beginning of season, so the marinas were a little bit empty and the boats were not ready, so company decided to give me upgrade - nice decision, I received Dufour 360 instead of Bavaria 32, which was initially ordered. The yacht was well prepared with diesel heating and an extra heater, which could be plugged in the port. The deposit, log and car parking could be paid by card so it was very convenient. The chartering company called be couple of days before rental, giving some tips and advices - we were in touch all the time in case of any questions.

    Boat was in good shape and had everything needed on board. Sails were Elvstroem rolling sails in good shape too - easy to handle, requires a lot of trimming to get performance but totally ok for a charter boat of that size. The charter company owner is very helpful and easy going and ready to assist, if there's anything needed. Checkin and checkout procedures were easy. I'd charter there again.
    The boat take-over required a lot of time, due to a technical issue (from a former crew) on another boat. This made us leave the harbour quite late in the evening and maybe that could have been prioritised differently. All that said, it was an exceptional situation that wouldn't impact my rating negatively. Checkin/Checkout times where also different from the ones we received from boataround.
