The base's location is very nice, but poorly maintained. Toilet paper is often unavailable, and cleanliness is generally lacking. Vehicles must be parked outside the base in a secure, gated area for a fee. The campsite owners are difficult and try to charge for everything as an extra. For example, the day before our departure, we parked our cars in front of the dock and loaded them. Since we left first thing in the morning, we had to pay extra for that night (even though we had already paid for the gated parking). The handover by the base was very good. The boat has a good hull but is not suitable for beginners, especially in strong winds. The bathroom in the stern is practically unusable due to the limited space. It has no lockers or any other storage space. The mats on the outside blow off the boat in strong winds. Because of the lack of storage space, and no room inside, it's necessary to secure each one individually on the outside. This is no easy task. Many thanks again to the base staff!
