This charter company tries to get the charterer to pay for the wear and tear on the yacht at the end of the season. Be careful, I experienced an extremely unfriendly yacht return. 2 dilapidated lines broke and I had to pay €1000 for them, even though I had previously pointed out the poor condition. Most of the neighboring yachts were having loud discussions about keeping the deposit. The charter company also did not react to other defects such as a defective chart plotter, leaky water tank filler neck, defective outboard motor, worn-out on-board battery. I can only warn against this charter company. These are attempts at fraud. There are enough other charter companies to save you this trouble.

We had a bare boat charter with Hermes Yachting. We rented their smallest monohull, a Dufour 395. The boat was in reasonable to good condition, and technically reliable. The main furling needed some attention for unrolling properly. The starting Marina is clean, has all required facilities, a good restaurant. The Hermes crew was helpful and trying to accomodate our wishes. The check-out procedure upon returning was fairly conducted, and I had the impression that Hermes Yachting is not one of the charterers eager on making some extra by withholding part or the whole of the deposit. I would consider them again for a further charter. Lavrion is a good starting point for a trip to the Kyklades.

Yacht condition was very good. Charter staff helpful.
Dinghy engine did not work and had to be repaired by a mechanic sent by the charter. This affected my rating of the pick up experience.
