The charter company handed over the boat properly, even though we arrived quite late in the evening. The staff were friendly and showed us possible routes and mooring points.
The boat is old and hasn't had many repairs. It doesn't have a navigation plotter. Charts for the area were missing. If I hadn't had my own, I wouldn't have been able to sail. The sail was musty. The berth cushions were ripped. One oil pressure gauge didn't work. The stove was practically falling apart. There were no meter markers on the anchor chain. The speed log didn't work, the depth gauge was barely legible, and the instrument panel was therefore unusable. There were also many other small things that weren't working correctly.
