DO NOT BOOK THIS BOAT! Review for Boat Charter Company I recently had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with Boataround and AF Yachting. The boat provided to us was old, unsafe, and completely unfit for use. Here's a detailed account of the numerous issues we encountered: 1. Motor Failure: The boat's motor failed repeatedly, leaving us stranded and unable to move. This was a significant safety concern, especially when out on the water. 2. System Failure: Critical systems on the boat were non-functional. Navigational aids and other essential equipment were either malfunctioning or completely inoperative. 3. Battery Failure: The boat's batteries were unreliable and failed multiple times, causing further delays and inconveniences. 4. Anchor Failure: The anchor mechanism was defective, making it impossible to secure the boat properly. 5. Corrosion: The electrical parts of the boat were corroded, posing both safety and operational risks. Due to these failures, we spent several days stuck in the harbor, waiting for technicians to address the numerous problems. This not only ruined our plans but also added unnecessary stress to our trip. To make matters worse, the owner showed a complete lack of integrity. Despite the boat's condition and our wasted time, we were betrayed and charged extra fees. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I strongly advise against using Boataround and AF Yachting. Their boats are unsafe, poorly maintained, and their business practices are unethical. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your boating needs.
