Sailing from Sunday, September 28th, to Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, before 10:00 a.m. At 10:10 a.m., after a tack, the mast to port broke because the starboard bolt holding the hull to the deck was not secured and was lost.

Rescuers "SeaHerlp" only arrived after about three hours, by which time we were already motoring toward the harbor with the mast in tow. About four hours after the accident, we reached the outer wall of Drage harbor under our own power. The charter company berated us, saying he wasn't interested in whether anyone was injured. The cause of the mast loss was due to the service: the bolt holding the shrouds to the deck was not secured!
