10 Excellent
Hi, here's a short report about our trip. We (2 people) spent a week (at the end of August) on the houseboat Stella (the smaller one) between Guzianka and Mikolalajki. We booked through the Boataround portal, which went absolutely smoothly. Our owner, Sylwia from the charter company Houseboat4u, contacted us beforehand regarding the charter contract and information. Sylwia handed over the boat and gave us a briefing in German (she speaks German very well). Maps and tips for the trip, as well as instructions for all the important functions of the houseboat, were also provided in German. Everything was really very nice, and you immediately feel at home on the houseboat :-). The houseboat itself has everything you need – it's self-sufficient in terms of electricity (solar panel/battery), water (shower), stove, refrigerator, heating, and toilet! This was sufficient for our week – although we did have a lot of sunshine. A quick word about the home port/handover station, Korektywa – it's a very nice marina – not too big, with excellent infrastructure and clean. Car parking is available on the premises – it's monitored by a barrier and cameras, and the owner, Sylwia, has a very accommodating solution regarding parking. In short: If you're looking for maximum relaxation combined with a bit of adventure, along with excellent service and support, this is the perfect place. We spent the entire week anchoring and camping in secluded coves, and even the 10hp engine provided sufficient propulsion. We'll definitely be back! :-) Highly recommended!
Adapter cable for power connection - for example in Mikolalajki there are no connections for Schuko plugs on the pillars, at least not at the berths on the harbor promenade.
