Potter was well presented, excellent equipment, linen, kitchen was very comprehensive, the Dufour 470 with the four cabin layout is a cut above some other yachts typically used in charters, and Potter is quite new. The dinghy was the best we have had ever had. Potter sailed well, the engine was immaculate, everything worked well apart from the anchor light which they were aware of. North Sardinia and Corsica were a delight, I could not recommend the area highly enough. There was good online technical support for our occasional questions, the booking process was good, again very responsive to our questions and the check-in engineer tried to sort out any minor issues that you inevitably get on any charter boat.
Yachting Sardinia is a good charter company and very thorough. There is a lot of online information sent which is very efficient and the onus is on you to read that and it is important to do so since Sardinia has a very rocky coast line. However this thoroughness can occasionally seem over bearing and legalistic which can put the charterer/ holiday maker on edge? Yachting Sardinia provided a very useful locator app to identify where danger points were on route since some of the buoyage is missing. It stopped on the Friday night leaving us blind on the Saturday. This service must be on for the whole charter period.
