We sailed from Izola via Caorle to Venice and back via Grado (anchoring in the lagoon), then via Muggia back to Izola. We really liked that there were very few boats out and hardly any charter guests in the marinas. Therefore, it was very quiet everywhere. Visiting Venice by boat and sailing past St. Mark's Square was really cool. The friendliness of the staff at the marinas in Italy is particularly noteworthy. What we liked about the boat was that it had good sails (triradial cut) for a charter yacht, and there were automatic life jackets on board!
Unfortunately, the boat wasn't ready for our planned early check-in due to damage caused by the previous renter. There were also several defects on our boat that indicated poor maintenance. For example, the bow thruster wasn't working, a mast slider was missing when we took delivery, and the window in the starboard aft cabin was broken.
