The staff of the charter company was very responsive and helpful when we had any issue. The catamaran was in good shape, sailing well on engine and under sail, also under reefed sail in strong wind (not great performance under sail but this is the Lagoon 40). Also comfortable and clean.
The check in - we missed some information about the boat, for example the anchor had a remote in front too (as it should) but it was in a different compartment than the anchor. This was not mentioned and we thought it has only one control from the helm. There were two main technical issues, one with the windlass engine which was quite slow and got unscrewed when we achored. We were near Korchula and the charterer send promptly a technician to solve the issue, he had to change the windlass engine. The boat windlass system is too basic though, it doesn't have a manual anchor retrieval mode. The other issue that we had was with the outboard engine which was starting dificultly and in the last days refused to start completely. A technician was again promptly sent by the charterer and he cleaned the carburator and the pump. The outboard engine started to work well for a day then again started difficultly.
