The condition of the boat was poor. It wasn't cleaned upon handover and, after being complained about, was given a half-hearted 5-minute wipe-down.

The catamaran was in pretty bad shape. We had to run the generator all the time for electricity - even while driving on the engine. When we picked it up, no one showed us anything - the most annoying thing was how to switch between the water tanks, because the pump only pumped from one. The desolinator only filled one water tank and not both. The charter was completely unresponsive regarding the faults on the catamaran. When we filled up with petrol at the home marina, at least 20l of petrol leaked out of the tank because they hadn't fixed the vent in the tank for a whole year - when this happened to us, the worker at the pump knew exactly which catamaran it was and said that he had been warning the charter about this fault for the whole season.
