The check-in and check-out process was very efficient. I'm very pleased with the ability to conduct most operations online. The boat was well prepared and very well equipped. It had a good chartplotter, echosounder, and other navigational instruments. The air conditioning was a great convenience during the heatwave.
I think it's worth checking the VHF radio, as it seems to me its range is limited. I had no problems communicating with boats near me, but I couldn't hear weather reports from Radio Split, for example. I also had trouble contacting ports, but this may have been due to the peak season and the large number of sailors. Pirovac Marina has limited space between the pierses in some areas. This can be challenging for less experienced sailors. Fortunately, Freewise has a good bow thruster. Unfortunately, the marina can sometimes be filled with unpleasant sewer odors in the evenings.
Very little on this holiday! Perhaps I should consider using Boataround to book a boat in the future! As always, I didn't receive a callback regarding a discount, even though I've chartered through Boataround repeatedly in recent years!
Check-in: Almost nothing was explained to us. Cleanliness was poor both inside and out. The lines were completely worn and torn. Friendliness: There was no gas lighter, and a tiny frying pan for the number of people was an outrage. The dinghy motor didn't work upon handover, and the dinghy's reserve tank was completely empty. The water tank hadn't been refilled either. The cockpit cushions are—as another customer has already noted—an absolute disgrace. The helm seat on the port side was missing entirely. Cushions and bedding weren't provided. Appointments with Ivan were not kept. We were promised that someone would come by in half an hour—however, we waited for hours, and only because we followed up at the office after two hours! The hatch in the owner's cabin couldn't be opened because it was completely jammed or locked on one side. This wasn't checked at all during check-out—so the next guest will have the exact same problem! The refrigerator also malfunctioned: the temperature couldn't be adjusted, so everything was constantly frozen. Furthermore, I'd like to mention that the base manager, Ante, and his colleague, Ivan, were extremely arrogant and condescending.
