The Bavaria C 38 Williams is a pleasant boat that has everything it takes to provide beginners with an easy sailing experience with its self-tacking jib. The charter company was excellent in every respect. All briefings, which were given in German, were very beneficial for us.
The Bavaria C 38 Williams should at least be equipped with fans. The standard electrical outlets only work with shore power. Therefore, our coffee maker couldn't be used while underway. The internet connection failed several times. The three written confirmations from Boataround that the additional gennaker was confirmed as a booking were not confirmed on site. This Williams yacht is currently not equipped to use any headsail in addition to the self-tacking jib. This made the theme of "sailing with a gennaker" impossible for us on this sailing trip.
