Everything was ok
2026 June. We chartered a Bavaria 32 with 3 persons. We knew this Bavaria wasn't knew, already almost 10 years old. So it was less expensive for us. We wery very surprised, this Bavaria was maintened very well. The check-in was done in a pretty atmosphere, but everything was explained very well, with time for our questions. Also check-out was very relaxed.We have enjoyed a week sailing in Dalmatia.

    Almost new sails, ropes in a good condition Solid anchor No major issues, easy to navigate, all key parts function well. Low fuel consumption
    Service battery capacity is poor, you need to be on the engine at least 6-7hrs/day to keep the battery charged enough until the next morning (the fridge does not have a regulation; it is ON/OFF only).<br />The fridge is only basic - no freezer. The anchor light did not work.<br />Oveall cleaning could be improved (you dont want to see dead mosquitoes on the walls) GPS plotter only indoors.<br />Overall condition rather poor (no surprise), some old demages not fixed 100% or in fully professional way (I guess no intention to invest in such an old boat?)

    Enjoyed the sailing experience.
    The quality of the boat was not great. The engine leaked fuel, no wind monitoring equipment was working, due to a known (but undisclosed on take over) sender unit fault. The sails were also very streched and baggy making it difficult to sail close to wind in light airs. The charter company basically shrugged it all off.
