The charter company AbaVela is a family business with 15 boats that truly takes excellent care of its vessels. The engine, sails, and lines are impeccably maintained, all nautical infrastructure is fully equipped, and the interior of our boat, Lilith, was also lovingly and generously furnished. It's not often that everything on a charter boat that contributes to safety, sailing enjoyment, and comfort works flawlessly. Communication with the charter company is excellent and solution-oriented. If you need assistance, someone can even come to the anchorage within a few hours to replace a worn part on the anchor rode, as was the case for us. Thank you so much! Otherwise, we would have either had to sail back or forego anchoring for the remainder of the trip. Marina Split is a tight squeeze and could use some new shower facilities. Nevertheless, it's very clean and, thanks to its fantastic location in the city, remains one of our favorites.
