4 Poor
Dear Sir or Madam, We have long considered sending you the following message. However, today, which was very rainy, has confirmed our decision. Let's start from the beginning. We chartered a 45 Bavaria Cruiser in Sukosan. We overlooked minor "blemishes" (broken hinges and lid flaps, bad battery (low battery when boarding the boat in the harbor), and unsightly repaired corners and edges). The friendly marinero was also immediately on hand to repair the defective dinghy and a leaky diesel hose. However, he was unable to solve the latter problem, which resulted in the cabin being unused due to the strong smell of diesel. But that wasn't enough. During the first heavy rain shower, we discovered that water was entering the newly made-up cabin through the larger window - and in considerable quantities. All of the bed linens and the mattress, which are also in very poor condition, were subsequently soaked. Here, we can only be thankful that the weather turned sunny and the boats could be dried. Today, it rained longer and harder. Water entered the boat (cabins, saloon, and toilet) in a total of seven places. The slightly musty smell of the upholstery in the saloon now makes sense to us. To put it briefly, the entire crew is "beyond annoyed" and simply disappointed. We are certain that this level of service is not in keeping with Boataround's philosophy. Should this nevertheless be the case, we will avoid chartering your boats in the future and also advise our friends against it. Sincerely, the crew of Grego (September 14-21, 2024)
