The boat is beautiful and the shore staff was very kind.
The marina services are a bit poor, the technical support in the app could use some work, but overall, nothing special.

Unfortunately nothing.
Our experience with Sardinia Yachting was unfortunately a huge disappointment and severely impacted our charter holiday. Despite paying for early check-in (€350), the boat was nowhere near ready when we arrived. The beds weren't made, the cleaning was inadequate (there was hair and dirt in the cabin), and the toilet was broken right from the start, costing us about 2.5 hours for repairs. On top of that, we were unexpectedly charged an extra €1448 for the bow thruster and air conditioning, supposedly as a package deal… We were just glad we didn't have to rent the sails separately. It was outrageous, really. What was particularly annoying was that we were initially refused permission to continue our trip due to an alleged outstanding payment. During the trip, further serious technical problems arose: the anchor wasn't reliable, and despite the emergency, we couldn't reach a technician, forcing us to spend an unplanned night in the harbor (an additional €100). Later, we even had to replace the thermal switch ourselves for about €115. In addition, we experienced problems with the battery voltage despite the engine running, as well as an unreliable autopilot. Particularly critical were the safety-related defects in the anchor gear and the electrical system. These could have posed significant risks in unfavorable situations. Overall, the numerous defects and organizational problems resulted in a loss of approximately 1.5 days and forced us to significantly alter our planned route. We spent a considerable portion of our vacation dealing with repairs, phone calls, and resolving issues instead of being on the water. Sardinia Yachting holds the €4,500 security deposit for 30 days but provides no confirmation at check-out that everything is in order (including the diver!). As a result, the next customer sets sail, and our deposit remains on their books! Absolutely unacceptable! For the high charter price and numerous additional costs, this service is completely inappropriate. We unfortunately cannot recommend Sardinia Yachting and would never charter a boat from them again.

Size of the yacht
The yacht was not prepared for safe sailing and its equipment did not meet the stated specifications: - no working inverter, - no battery charging – it would break down after about 5 hours of sailing, emitting a loud warning sound, and it would not charge while the engine was running, forcing us to constantly stop in port, - a damaged refrigerator and table – we repaired these ourselves, - a non-functioning boiler – we repaired them after a day in port, - a non-functioning bow truster – we did not repair them, and the owner described its presence as "a luxury and our whim," - non-functioning solar panels – they were not connected at all, - a non-functioning AIS system, - a lack of full external mattresses, and a non-functioning external shower – we repaired them ourselves. This situation occurred on approximately eight boats from this owner that were renting yachts at the same time. Most of the vessels sailed with the non-functional yachts so as not to waste their entire vacation. We spent until Monday morning in port waiting for repairs, and we still had to leave with the damaged yacht to avoid losing the entire trip. I rate this as the worst yacht and service we've ever chartered. We've chartered dozens of yachts over the years, but we've never experienced such poor service. The company constantly sends information about restrictions, fines, and meeting times. It took me a few weeks to calm down and then get around to writing a review. I believe these types of charter companies shouldn't be allowed to advertise on the portal. I would request compensation of 20% of the charter price due to the company's lack of vessel preparation. This results in the inability to fully utilize the booked dates and the need for constant port visits due to a discharged battery.

I have been chartering yachts every summer for over 15 years, and I am an experienced sailor. My recent charter with Yachting in Sardinia was, without exaggeration, the most catastrophic experience I have ever had, completely ruining our holiday. From the very start, the boat was delivered in unacceptable condition. It had critical technical failures from day one, including a major electrical fault that left us without a functioning charging system for over four days. This meant we could not rely on the batteries to operate essential onboard systems, making the boat unsafe. On top of this, the freshwater system was defective for the entire week, despite multiple attempts at repair, forcing us to manage with extremely limited water supply. The wind instruments were completely inoperative, a serious safety hazard, especially as we faced strong wind conditions throughout the trip. Because of these issues, we lost over 60 hours of our cruise immobilised in port: a full day stuck at their base for unsuccessful repairs, and two nights trapped in La Maddalena instead of following our planned Sardinia–Corsica itinerary. Instead of enjoying time at sea, we spent most of our week troubleshooting breakdowns and waiting for repairs. The response from the base was poor to non-existent: no real reactivity, constant bad faith, and at times outright aggressiveness from staff. There was absolutely no empathy for the situation, no real concern for passenger safety, and no willingness to take responsibility for ruining our holiday. Speaking with other charterers that same week confirmed we were far from alone — several other customers reported equally severe technical failures, poor maintenance, and a complete lack of support. This company operates with negligence, bad faith, and a total disregard for both safety and customer satisfaction. If you value your holiday, your safety, and your money, my advice is simple: never rent from Yachting in Sardinia.
