Helpful staff at Yacht4You, well maintained vessel, we were very happy with everything and the sailing area is outstanding.
Refuelling options are very limited, especially given Split region is a huge yacht charter area. This is not the charter company's fault. Kaštela (home marina) told us they had no fuel for charter,s leaving only a few other options, and they get insanely busy on the last day when literally every charter boat in the greater Split area is refuelling. It was utter madness - such a missed opportunity for the charter industry. Yacht4You were awesome!
The marina was very clean and profesaional! The mecanical manager was professional, and did a good job to try to help us out!
We had a very disappointing and unsafe experience with Yacht4You in Split, Croatia, booked through Boataround. When we took over the boat, it was in unacceptable condition: dirty, with broken glass on the deck, a cigar butt, and a strong smell of urine inside. The kitchen utensils were filthy, and although we were given replacements, they still had price tags and had to be washed. The bedding had blood stains, and the replacements were unwashed. One freshwater tank was empty, and the refrigerator hadn’t been turned on — it took a full day to cool, causing our food to spoil. Even worse, the fridge had an unbearable shrimp smell that kept returning despite multiple cleaning attempts, including with chlorine. Most serious of all, there was a gas leak, the gas monitors weren’t activated, and splinters were still in — a potentially fatal situation. When we reported all of this, the manager was not only dismissive but accused us of planting the cigar and broken glass ourselves — and even claimed we were responsible for the urine smell by “peeing on the walls.” It was beyond insulting. The staff denied all issues, and their responses felt rehearsed. In the end, we were only compensated €280, which merely covered the cleaning fee. This was meant to be a premium charter — instead, it was unsafe, unprofessional, and handled with shocking disrespect. We’re sharing this to warn others: Avoid Yacht4You.
