The skipper did an outstanding job. He obviously understood his role in giving us a good vacation experience and a lot of privacy. He alone made a bad experience with the charter company and some aspects of the boat into an overall great experience.
The Angelina charter company obviously don't care about their clients. The provide too little information, basically only at request and too late. They even give false information if convenient for them. Their staff is not really interested in providing service. They are oblivious to you, not helpful, argumentative and/or rude. The boat in question (La Luna) was not well maintained. Three out of four drain pumps in the bathrooms did not work. Two door handles were broken. One window clasp was broken off completely. The ignition on the stove did not work. The safety lock on the main gas knob did not work. There were other details. Finally, there was a very bad smell in the boat of burnt glass fiber combined with sewage.
