The service on site was excellent. This refers primarily to your harbor master, who was very polite, accommodating, and knowledgeable. A rare exception to what I have experienced in my approximately 30 years of chartering.
Unfortunately, there seems to be nothing that can be done to improve this ancient boat. I would never book it again. It leaked in at several points. Most importantly, the bow cabin has absolutely no place to hang clothes or lay out shirts, trousers, etc. Such facilities are simply missing. If you're told at handover that you're not allowed to sail in wind force 4, then there's no wind gauge on board. And where's the depth sounder? My "average" rating is therefore a generous assessment!
