Rhodes is a perfect entry point for sailing Dodecanese, all the islannds were beautiful with kind people.
Istion Yachting on Rhodes is honestly terrible. We rented catamaran Nemo as a brand new boat in September 2023 and it was alredy damaged. When we arrived at the port the boat was filthy, there was mold in the refrigerator and the deck was not cleaned at all. We cleaned it ourselves but still paid expensive transit log. Main sail cover was too small for the sail, so it did not fit in right. Also the waste tanks were not emptied or cleaned, so we suffered really terrible smell all week. The crew of Istion made us fill the review of the company in from of them in the office before they gave us back the deposit. I do not know about other bases, but I for sure will avoid Istion like the plague.
