We had already been to the marina the day before and met our predecessors, who kindly left us a few kitchen utensils such as salt, pepper, coffee and a few drinks. According to them, they were also very satisfied. When we arrived the next day at lunchtime, the cleaning was almost over and George was also there, who was repairing a buckle on the bimini and checking the whole boat. We were allowed to cool a few small things on the boat and the bags were in front of the boat under George's supervision. Afterwards we did our shopping. A Lidl is about 5 minutes away by taxi and a drinks wholesaler is just diagonally opposite the entrance to the Marina Alimos. At around 3 p.m. George started the briefing and showed us everything that was on board. The instructions were very precise and everything you needed was there and in very good condition. The lines and sails were in very good condition. Two long shore lines and a good anchor claw were also included. On each bed there was a welded plastic bag with enough sheets, pillowcases and towels. There are also thick blankets on board. After we had completed the contract and the deposit via cell phone and credit card, George gave us some good travel tips. Since the boat was of course tracked, George always gave good suggestions via Whatsapp where we could eat well when we docked. Communication with George before the trip and during the trip via WhatsApp was always very good. When we had completed the takeover, we started our sailing trip at 5 p.m. We actually planned to sail east towards the Cyclades but that day there was a very strong north wind, which wasn't actually a problem but the waves from the north were very high, so we decided to sail south into the Saronic Sea. The week was fantastic, the sails held up in strong winds and the engine ran very well in calm conditions. The navigation electronics were also perfect. The batteries lasted very well, so we didn't have to charge them all week. There were also several snorkel sets on board. We chartered the boat at a very hot time and unfortunately Beneteau did not equip the boat with many or larger side hatches, so the heat accumulated in the cabins, but there were fans installed in each cabin that worked well. I would still recommend an inflatable bed if you want to sleep on deck under the stars. According to George, he may want to install air conditioning by next year, which would then run on shore power. All in all, we were very satisfied with the boat, with the cleanliness, with the administration, with the pick-up and handover and of course with George. Everything else would be first world problems. We would sail under this conditions with this boat again at any time.

Everything works reliably. We felt safe sailing in strong winds or anchoring in the bay when we couldn't find a place in the harbor. The spacious interior and three toilets provide comfort for the demanding crew. A large supply of batteries means you don't have to worry about cold beer :). Apart from that, the yacht is clean and looks completely new. The owner of the yacht, George, patiently explained everything. He even helped us plan the cruise route.

We had an amazing experience with this charter: The boat is super well maintained and in superior condition for it's age. Communication with the owner was excellent, he supported us not only before and at Check-in, but also throughout the whole trip with advice regarding the boat and the surrounding, where to go, to eat, etc... If you charter this boat, you will not be disappointed.

George was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. He did everything possible to make our experience exceptional. He took great care of us—reminding us to prepare the documents in advance, keeping us informed, staying in touch, and always responding quickly. The check-in process was excellent: thorough, well-organized, and full of all the information we needed—even the things we might have forgotten to ask. And despite how detailed it was, we still managed to leave the marina on the very same day. Buddy, the boat, truly became our “buddy” on this trip. She was very comfortable, fully equipped, and prepared with great attention to detail—clothespins, chopping boards, sharp knives, and even an extra French press that we had requested just a few days before departure. Sailing on Buddy was smooth and effortless: good sails, solid rigging, a reliable engine, and—even more rare—a very useful bow thruster. The check-out was just as pleasant. We felt completely comfortable pointing out small issues or things to improve—unlike with some other Greek charter companies, where you’d rather say nothing unless asked directly, to avoid unnecessary hassle or deductions from the deposit. George’s approach was open, honest, and reassuring. I honestly wish there were more boat owners like George.

We had an amazing experience with George and his sailing yacht Buddy. George is a truly passionate owner who clearly loves his boat and keeps it in excellent condition. The yacht itself is exceptionally well maintained, with many thoughtful upgrades and reliable onboard systems that made our trip smooth and enjoyable. Everything worked perfectly, from the sails to the equipment, giving us complete confidence during the entire charter. I can only give the highest recommendation both for George as an owner and Buddy as a yacht. We would be delighted to sail with them again.
