The staff from the charter company Auqatoria were unfriendly and unwilling to resolve the issues we raised. The following happened: 1) The starter battery is draining: we couldn't start the engine after spending a night without shore power. With shore power, we were able to start the engine, but the battery voltage dropped relatively quickly, so we had to run the engine for an hour every 2-3 hours. We were in the marina for several days due to bad weather, but the charter company staff refused to investigate the problem. 2) The toilet is clogged. The staff accuses us of stuffing paper in it, but it was probably residue from the holding tank. After flushing, the problem was solved. The person who did the work then demanded €100 in cash, threatening further costs. This behavior, coupled with the accusation that we were using the toilet incorrectly, didn't exactly inspire confidence. What can you do when you've put down a €1,500 deposit? That's a pretty weak basis for negotiation. 3) Checkout: Delayed by 1.5 hours, even though there were no other guests. We were simply forgotten and then told to just wait by the boat. No apology or any pleasant parting words. Strange! I wouldn't book with Auqatioria again. It's a shame, because otherwise the boat was fine.
