A functioning boat!!! We had a broken gearbox; from the very beginning, the gearshift lever was loose. The first time we docked, it fell out and couldn't be reattached. This made the boat unmaneuverable. The charter company couldn't repair it where it happened, and we couldn't leave because we had family on the island. We had planned to take day trips with the family, but that was all impossible. The base manager was unfriendly! We had already learned at handover/check-in that the boat, specifically the engine, had previously been damaged. It was unacceptable that the charter company refused to come to us for the repair, forcing us to travel to another island, Malo Losinj, about four hours away, for it to be fixed. We lost an entire day of our vacation. My husband had already tried to repair it himself with telephone support, but that also took half a day, as a replacement part was needed. We are not willing to pay for this and will consider our options when we return home on October 5th.
