The maintenance of the boat has been nil for years: alternators not working, inverters failing, we sailed at night without instruments, no autopilot, no GPS, no log, no depth sounder... no navigation lights.... service battery at zero volts at night, during the day the fridge worked with the panels then died at sunset. In all this I have done cabaret with my clients to distract them from the malfunctions. I have a School and Charter Agency and I assure you that it is a level really below the union minimum. The boat I had booked in February was not lost, it was simply left to die of wear and tear and was on the buoy outside the Marina. "the company don't fix" a sailor explained to me... the clients asked me for a refund of a day for having to go back to look for a blacksmith for the anchor (we didn't have a spare one) and I gladly accepted.... in the future before stopping a boat I will ask for a warranty contract. I hope that everything goes well for the June boat or our working relationship will end here.
