This is not the first time we have rented a boat, we also have a boat in Bulgaria, we have general knowledge, we also deal with internal combustion engines, we are aware of the principle of operation and "fuel" consumption. We took the boat at 12:00 and returned it at 17:30. Of our total 5 hours and 30 minutes, we have about 2 hours and something of riding. In the meantime, we had lunch in the bay so-called "blue lagoon" in a place for resting yachts and sailboats and motor boats like the one we took, a place with a large spread in the water and certainly absorbed a lot of oil, it is far from blue (to clients who think they should visit it, nothing charming, a boat with torn grass inside and so on "waste of time" 😁 but we sat there for about an hour, then we headed to the bay "Ormos Desimi" and stopped before it in front of a small beach where we spent time resting, swimming, diving, a place with crystal blue water, fish, a nice small beach inaccessible by land only by boat, great for a peaceful vacation (I recommend). The other very important thing is the engine is 30 hp. And the boat is not an inflatable heavy boat for 7 people and we were 4 grams was not working, the speed was super slow or there was a problem or it was intentionally to torture the engine and high consumption, we covered the distance from the port to the bay with the small beach in about an hour and anyone who has gone knows that it is not that long. To summarize it: we went to the lagoon which is to the right of the port where we took the boat we had lunch for an hour, then we went to the small beach we sat for about 2 hours and then we went home first we killed time sailing because out of 5 hours we spent 2 and something were driving and I forgot to mention that after we decided to leave the beach to there we had about 1 hour and a little sailing our fuel ran out and we had to fill up from the reserve, our tank is 20 liters interesting how we burned it then we filled up the reserve can which I think is 15 liters smaller in volume than the tank and when we arrived at the port we had spent 32 liters, A clever way to bring in an extra dohud because the boat rent is 150 euros is not something that many people know about. They convinced us that we would most likely pay an extra 20 to 35 euros for fuel, which in most cases was paid by customers, yes if they are going around in circles in front of the port 😁 we paid 65 euros, they didn't push us with much, it's just stupid the way they collect money. We didn't say anything and made a problem because there is no way to prove it, not to mention that the boat is a 4-stroke engine. Boats with a 2-stroke engine consume significantly more than we have in Bulgaria, and this consumption is supposed to be 9l / hour, a boat that does not raise more than 1000 rpm, and this for a gasoline four-stroke engine is negligible. In the end, we talked to other people, but this was a regular trick for everyone, there is no way to prove it, and when you pick it up, hardly anyone opens the tank. put your eye inside to see if it's full😁.
