- the boat is very well maintained in terms of sailing - the ropes, winches, sails and engine are completely OK (genoa in excellent condition, mainsail slightly pulled out, but that is quite understandable considering the 2019 renovation and the furling sail) - the bed linen was clean, after being notified of the missing set it was immediately replenished - despite the older keel construction, the boat shows good climbing ability, with the tacking angle often below 100°, which corresponds to a climb angle (TWA) of around 50° in the true wind. The boat's drift was acceptable, better than I expected. Also, sailing astern was quite effective. I really liked sailing in a crosswind - with AWS of approx. 14kn (TWS of approx. 11kn) we got over 8kn SOG, i.e. within the boat's design capabilities (hull speed 8.41kn). - there are plenty of 220V sockets and USB ports on the boat - in each cabin, salon and on the navigation console. - large side fenders - large "cabin alias well" behind the anchor well - plenty of space for storing provisions, bottled water, fenders, etc. - 2 water tanks with a total capacity of over 500l - strong and efficient bow-thruster
- missing waste tank - the navigation plotter is in the salon, it is missing in the cockpit, and it also had occasional GPS connection failures and was losing position; Navionics Boating on your phone or tablet is a must - occasional speed indicator failures, the second indicator gave meaningless values - unreliable engine speed indicator - sometimes it showed 1000rpm, but realistically, based on the sound and speed of the boat above 4kn, we were above 1500 rpm - unreliable fuel level indicator - we used about 10l of diesel in a week (only port maneuvers and 2 approximately hour-long passages through the canals between the islands, yet it showed me about 2/3 of the tank level twice - when handing over the boat, problems with the fuel indicator led to arguments about whether we were returning the boat with a full tank, the office did not believe our consumption of only 10l per week - I recommend checking the condition of the outer hull well when taking over - at the first stop, we found that the bow was damaged by the anchor; we managed to complain about it when handing it over based on a photo, but it was unnecessary stress. - a front shroud is attached to the deck in front of the mast, which prevents the placement dinghy in the usual place. The location between the mast and the cockpit complicates the ropes to the mast - if you don't support it, the dinghy lies on the ropes and rubs when handling the sails - the boat was equipped with a protective net on the railing, unfortunately this made tying the fenders very complicated and made it completely impossible to move them ad-hoc to another position between the railing posts - the boat was very slow and did not respond well to the rudder when reversing - no storage spaces under the floor in the salon or in the cabins - the boat is equipped with DSC, but unfortunately it did not take the position and time from the GPS, it had to be entered manually. - it could have been a specific piece, but the WiFi router that we borrowed had no endurance and the network dropped every now and then, a restart was necessary; for me, a waste of money - despite these minor shortcomings, I rate the boat as above average :)

It's not a modern boat, but it's a well-maintained, well-equipped boat. It can even be anchored for several nights, thanks to its large water tank and efficient solar system. It's available at a great price, I recommend it.
There is no navigation system display in the cockpit.

Had to leave a review because I was more than satisfied by our experience. I rented one of the most budget-friendly yachts in the fleet, 2001 Beneteau 46 “Roserunner” and because the price was so cheap, I was worried the boat would have problems and the service would be bad. I kept my expectations in check (I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just a solid, safe, functional boat) and In fact, the boat was well maintained, the service from the VAL yachting team was good, and I had the best 2 weeks of my life with my friends sailing around Dalmatia! I would use Val yachting again

This boat has a lot of things, well thought out, lots of storage space, easy to handle..
hauling and setting the mainsail is a job for 3 well-coordinated people for a few minutes.. a great experience at 35kn and waves :) but.. the experience doesn't have to be positive, especially when it's strong, right? :) the problem is probably structural rather than maintenance..

Nice boat but unfortunately not well maintained.
VHF / radio did not work. The marina could be reached in the marina, but a daily radio check to the coast guard did not work. The port toilet does not work (did not suck in water) The USB ports were not supplying power / had a bad loose connection ...
