The boat has a self-tacking jib which was nowhere mentioned. Except that it was barely visible in one picture. Since we did not want to this we asked the charter company if it was possible to switch boats. We did not expect too much from this, but wanted to at least ask. They reacted very uncooperative and unfriendly. Told us that we knew from the beginning that the boat was equiped with a self-tacking jib, since it were mentioned on the web page and in the boats inventory list. However neither the Boataround page nor the charter companies page even mentions the foresail, and in the inventory list at the boat takeover the foresail is designated as "genua". Overall the boat was really poorly maintained. The bathing platform was so badly damaged, that we had fear that the ladder would break out. The refrigerator would open all the time. The Pots and pans on board were way tiny, it was really inconvenient to cook for 5 people, I cannot imagine how it would have been for a full boat. Robes were probably not cared for in years. The knots were so hard that it was impossible to untie them without a marlinspike. The Traveller robe was too short so that it was not possible to move it all the way. And for some abstruse reason there was an eyesplice instead of a stopper knot in the end of the topping lift. It was not possible to turn on/off the steamer light and navigation lights seperately, which made it illegal/unsafe to sail at night. There was not even a bucket on board. This boat is simply not worth the price they demand.

Reservation process could be improved and not charge money until yacht is made available

Fir and finish issues and many parts missing/worn out and not replaced on a yacht that is only 2 years old.
