I'd like to be clear that we had the most amazing experience from Steve (boat owner) and the crew. The Boataround booking experience is not a reflection on them, however, we it was not clear from the Boataround listing or at any point during the booking process about fees that were not included. We were shocked to be asked for nearly 800 euros in additional costs (fuel, port tax and passenger fee) a week before we were due to board the boat. The Boataround website does not flag to you that these fees are not included or that it is listed in the very small FAQ section. There is a list of inclusions when booking, so why wouldn't there be a list of exclusion or additional fees to pay. All in all, we had an excellent time but I think it needs to be more clear on further fees that you incur when making a booking. In saying that, the Boataround team were helpful when I called to raise this (albeit they do not reply via email - only phone.)

Nothing to add, perfect experience on the boat. On reflection there is one thing, I was getting nervous about not being able to contact BOATAROUND if anything went wrong whilst on holiday. They gave me Steve’s mobile number a week before. If I had known they would share Steve’s contact details sooner I wouldn’t have been so anxious. But everything else was perfect answered all my questions, and there were a lot, nothing was too much trouble:)
