Irmak is an excellent charter company. This was our first time chartering a yacht with them, and we'll always charter with them. We were treated very kindly throughout the entire cruise. Upon check-in, they explained and showed us everything in detail, allowed us to film everything, advised us on the best places to buy groceries, and suggested good anchorage bays. During the cruise, we had a problem with the anchor winch, and after calling the charter company, mechanics arrived three hours later and fixed it right there, so we didn't have to interrupt the cruise and return. By comparison, a neighboring boat had the same problem, and their charter company didn't respond at all, forcing them to return. The boat was handed over in a matter of minutes. They briefly inspected it, asked about the problems, and we pointed out the defects and expected them to deduct the amount from the deposit. But no, the check-in manager said it was minor and everything was fine. The deposit was fully refunded. The next day, Saturday, we weren't kicked off the yacht; they told us to take our time and pack calmly. Water and electricity in the marina are free for us, unlimited. We moored there three times and called for assistance on Channel 69 three times, also free of charge. The showers and toilets in the marina are amazing, very clean.
