Communication before the charter was excellent — quick and accurate replies whenever I wrote, and they were flexible when I requested changes. The boat's layout is very comfortable for a family holiday.
Check-in administration was clumsy: although I had uploaded all my details to Boataround months in advance, the charter company claimed they only received them one day before arrival. Despite its young age, the boat is starting to feel worn — the swim ladder holder was about to tear out of its place, making the ladder unusable all week; we had to climb out of the water via the SUP. The low point was the Friday check-out. The diver "found something": we were told a blade was missing from the bow thruster propeller, and they even showed us on their monitor that it wasn't recorded on the boat's file — even though nothing happened during our charter that could have caused it. After some drama and what felt like intimidation, they checked their photos from the previous check-out, which showed the blade had already been missing before our handover. To be fair, in the end they released the deposit in full. Still, the missing blade and several other problems, minor and not so minor, had not been disclosed to us at check-in (e.g. the fire extinguisher had no pressure), and the whole thing felt like an attempt to charge us for pre-existing damage, and it left a very bad taste. I should add that the full fleet changeover clearly overloads the base, and the staff on the dock vent their tiredness and frustration directly onto returning customers. Summary: A real mix of very positive and negative experiences with this company.
