The only positive thing: A member of staff gave us good tips on wind and anchorages during the trip.
Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with this yacht charter. Very unprofessional and rude. Problems were downplayed, and no solutions were offered: The front cabins were wet upon handover, as were the mattresses. We were promised dry mattresses from another boat, but we didn't get them because the skipper didn't want to sleep on the wet mattresses himself. A crew member's cell phone was damaged as a result (water damage overnight). Blankets were missing and were only brought Sunday morning after repeated requests. The toilets on board stank. The problem was known: there were scented rocks in the bilge, but no solution was found. There was also used toilet paper from the previous crew on board. There were no toilets or showers in the marina. The worst: In the end, they wanted to pin a broken engine on us and demanded 300 euros in cash, even threatening 3,000 euros – but not beyond the official deposit. The alleged evidence (the color of the oil) didn't stand up to comparison, and suddenly there was no video evidence after all. Only after lengthy negotiations was the claim withdrawn. It seems to be a common ploy to distract from one's own problems or extort more money. I recommend removing this provider from the program. The charter company refused to cover the broken cell phone or offer any other compensation. Accordingly, I expect appropriate compensation from Boataround, as the intermediary, if necessary, to be obtained from the charter company.

The boat, the charter company (especially Tomasso who helped us a lot during the week. He was available whenever I needed him. He recommended great places, marinas where we could dock, beaches, etc.) Check in and check out was also very smooth and everyone from Sardinia-Week was very helpful. The boat was in good condition and worked well throughout the week. The only problem was with the anchor winch, but Tomasso and his father solved the problem immediately.
The boat was clean, but the equipment could be better (but Tomasso provided everything we needed before our departure).
