Here's an overview of all the broken parts of the boat - the boat is not charter-worthy, and insurance-wise I think the charter company will have an issue with non-functioning bilge pumps and a hot-wired cable. Broken main winch (electric part not working, manual step half working). The lowest mainsail cart is missing completely (it’s very easy to rip the mainsail tack point). The killswitch on the outboard was never working as it was not even properly attached. See video. Needless to say, this is extremely dangerous as the outboard keeps running when you fall overboard. The key of the saloon was completely twisted and basically broken off. Now it’s completely broken. The genoa block has been attached in an amateurish and incorrect manner. This is a serious safety concern, particularly when sailing under load. (Photo attached.) The backrest on the port side is missing, creating a potentially dangerous situation where someone could easily fall overboard. (Photo attached.) Port side bilge has around 30 cm of water and possibly oil and feasicies in it. Bilge pump float switches are not functioning (nor is the alarm). Furthermore, the genua block is deformed and about to break. Main halyard deck block is 90% broken and will break on very short notice (Photo attached.) Main halyard itself is about 30% chaffed One of the two winch handles is broken. Several wires in the bilge have been hotwired instead of using proper blade fuses (the fuses are missing, just bridged by a wire The windlass wiring is heavily corroded, causing the windlass to overheat during operation. SUP paddle is broken (while you tried to charge me €150 for 1 SUP). Water tank labelling for watermaker is incorrect, making it difficult to determine which tanks are being filled. The saloon refrigerator is not cooling properly. The air conditioning control panel in the port guest cabin is not working. The water seal for the forward port locker is missing or torn. There are no sunshades or mosquito nets on the port-side hatches. There are visible burn marks in the forward cockpit. (Photo attached.) Several of the cushions are ripped and no longer properly secured. (Photo attached.) Missing cover plates to electronics (covers with cardboard?) Will probably find more issues during the rest of the week

Everything, I wouldn’t say the charter company’s staff were completely uninterested, but I also can’t say they were particularly helpful. They canceled the boat I had originally booked without giving any explanation. They then offered me a different boat at a price significantly higher than the one advertised on the Boataround website. Unfortunately, that replacement boat had numerous issues. To make a long story short, we managed to survive the trip. I wish anyone renting from them in the future plenty of patience and the best of luck.
