Never book with Yachtin Sardinia again! Absolutely insane!!!

The yacht was handed over in a state of mediocrity. We had booked early check-in at 1 p.m., but were already there on Friday and wanted to quickly check the yacht, as it hadn't been chartered the week before. We weren't allowed on board. We were there again on Saturday at 10 a.m., but we weren't allowed on board either; we were only allowed on board at 1 p.m. During the check, we noticed that the traveler wouldn't move. After the technician looked in the wrong place for the problem, we finally found the problem under a cover (apparently the traveler was operated with the electric winch, which completely tore out a hidden guide roller). There was a risk that the entire traveler could give way under pressure. So we had to watch helplessly as time passed and nothing happened. So we wanted our money back for the early check-in. The first flippant answer from our contact person was that we could board at 1 p.m. and therefore wouldn't get the 300 euros back. After endless discussions, the "boss" finally arrived, and after a workaround was implemented around 5 p.m. in the form of a centrally mounted mainsheet point, we also got our money back for the early check-in. At checkout, they wanted to charge us for a cover for the navigation light. A funny detail on the side: the boss himself saw during check-in that the cover was missing, but our "great" contact person said we had signed, stating that everything was in order and now we had to pay. We then said there had been no other option than to sign. After repeated insistence, she finally called the "boss," and he confirmed our version. So we got away with it. In summary, I'll have to seriously consider chartering there again; their treatment of customers and the quality standards of the maintenance and service staff leave a lot to be desired. Only the employees who are supposed to carry out the handover are doing their best within the limits of their capabilities. Whether someone wants to put themselves through that is up to them.
