Avoid this charter - terrible experience from the moment we booked up until we left the boat. After 2 weeks from the original booking, the charter said that boat was already booked, i.e. he did not bother to update availability on Boataround. After weeks of communicating through Boataround we managed to find an alternative boat with the same charter and had to change our travel dates. The charter was not responsive to our inquiries via phone even after several follow ups about inconsistent information we were receiving about the booking from Boataround. He informed us only 2 hours before check in that we had to pay the skipper the full amount in cash (€1,800) that same morning, when his listing mentioned we could pay by card. After a heated discussion he agreed for us to pay by card. He did not even bother to send us the right location at the marina so we ended up having to take another transfer to reach the boat. The listing says the boat (Atom) was refitted in 2025 but there's no signs of it - interiors are worn out and bathrooms smell bad. The dinghy's electric engine was provided to us with 40% battery and after 1 day it stopped working so we had to wait for him to deliver a new one. When we returned to harbour on our last day, there was no one at the dock for assistance or for the check out control. Appalling customer service overall, we'll never book again from this company.

The boat was definitely NOT the one depicted - the yacht I chartered was tired and poorly maintained. The two rear guard lines (protecting both helm positions from accidentally falling backwards) were too short to fit, and the buckle clip on one was broken anyway. The fridge had exposed rusty parts where the plastic coating should have been. The sail bag was broken. There was no boat manual to explain nuances of the boat - I did ask before the charter, but none was sent to me. The showers failed on day 1. The sailing displays by the help position (that give wind/heading info etc) had big black blobs on the screens in place of information. The main switch board in the lounge was labelled in Spanish and not English. The sail bag zip was jammed. And as for IB Yachtings' response for support - they were utterly terrible - Isabelle the person who completed by handover, was rude, kept repeating what she was saying and wouldn't let me speak or explain myself.
